Questions frequently asked by students renting bed lofts:

Is it necessary to reserve a bed loft during the summer, or can I rent once I get to campus?

If you are interested in renting a bed loft, reserving over the summer is the only way to guarantee availability.  Our lofting program has been very popular, and although we are continually adding to our inventory, the only way to make sure a loft is available is to reserve it.  Be warned, if you do not reserve the loft you may end up on a waiting list.

What happens if I change my mind?

All monies paid to reserve the unit are refundable.  All you need to do is simply stop down to one of our distribution locations and let us know you would like to cancel.  In most situations a check will have to be generated from our home office.  Checks are typically mailed to your home address within two to four weeks.

Will I need any tools to assemble my bed loft?

NO - all hardware is fastened with wing nuts.

Can a shelf be added after I pick up my bed loft?

Yes, in most cases you will be able to pick it up on the spot.  The possibility does exist that it may have to be dropped off at a later date.

Is black the only color the bed lofts come in?

Yes, black is the only color with one exception, several halls at NDSU use grey.

How heavy are the lofts?

The bed loft comes with three main pieces the total weight of the unit is approx. 75 pounds.
